The Air & Waste Management Association - Niagara Frontier Section (A&WMA-NFS) is sponsoring several grants for up to $500.00 in honor of Earth Day 2007. The purpose of the grant is to promote environmental awareness through educational activities. · The grant is open to educational institutions and organizations in the New York State counties of Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Niagara and Wyoming. · Applications must be submitted to Dave Copeland, 54 Bramhill Court, East Amherst NY 14051, Fax # 716-879-7398 or email dave_copeland@praxair.com. · Applications must be postmarked, faxed or emailed no later than February 1, 2008. · Any questions regarding the Earth Day Grant should be directed to: Dave Copeland (716) 879-2460 / email dave_copeland@praxair.com
Application conditions: · All applications will be reviewed and the grant awarded by A&WMA-NFS Education Committee. The decision of the committee is final. · One-half of the grant money will be awarded on or about March 7, 2008. · The remaining grant money will be awarded upon receipt of a required final report. Grant winners must submit a brief report to A&WMA-NFS Education Committee after completion of the Earth Day project. The report is informal and has no specific forms or essay, but should include general details of the project / event with pictures where appropriate. · The award must be used during the 2007 / 2008 academic school year.
