2009/2010 Membership Levels:

Local Associate - $30  (renewals due on an annual basis, each Septeber)

Local associates of the Niagara Frontier Section receive the Section’s newsletter, notification of monthly dinner meetings and reduced fees to dinner meetings. The newsletter is issued quarterly and features items of local interest to the environmental community.  Each month, the Section holds a dinner meeting that provides members a chance to meet other local environmental professionals and listen to the featured speaker of the month (attendance is approximately 45 people).  Some meetings will be eligible for PDH’s.  Members receive a discount on all local activities, including: the monthly meetings and other festive events.  Membership must be renewed annually in October to cover the Section’s season (September to August).  Local associates are not members of the International Air & Waste Management Association.  See us at www.awmanfs.org.

International Member - $180 , (renewed every 12 months)

An International Member receives all of the benefits of a Local Associate plus one journal, notification of continuing education opportunities, reduced fees for national classes/seminars/conferences, and further reduced prices for section meetings.  The journals offered include the Environmental Manager with articles and updates directed to the facility and consulting professionals, where the Journal of the A&WMA is directed to the academic community.  International members are invoiced before their anniversary date, which covers their dues for a 12 month period (rolling membership).  Check out International at www.awma.org.

Corporate Sponsor Member - $300,  (renewed every 12 months)

A Corporate Sponsor Membership includes the International Membership for one employee of the sponsoring organization, and a Local Associate membership for a second employee, see descriptions above.  It also provides scholarship assistance to local students in environmental programs and educational outreach. All of our corporate sponsors receive space on our meeting announcements and are prominently featured on the scholarship awards. Without the assistance of corporate sponsors our Section cannot continue to award thousands of dollars in scholarships each year, over $10,000 during each of the last 3 years; conduct environmental training courses for area high school teachers with our “Teach the Teachers” program; and provide donations to area schools to support SIMM City teams, the Science Congress, etc.  The Corporate Members are invoiced by the Section before their international membership’s anniversary date.
